■■１）BOM Management function ■■
◎Typical Engineering Project involves design and manufacturing of parts. BOM Module will allow users to track LifeCycle of each part.
◎BOM manages the parts in tree structure. It is easy to manage using parent / child format.
Parts are classified into OEM & Raw material (Including in-house production), keep information of vendors & customers.
◎There is a sequence of stages of part such as Design –>Release–> Purchase Order–>Approval–>Invoice–>Payment. Various types of reports like Production report, Vendor report, Quality report are available.
■■２）Introducing custom field in Project ■■
◎You can now manage the details of your project by setting up your own custom fields.
◎Up to 10 Custom fields can be used.
■■３） Schedule -> Gantt display of baseline schedule ■■
◎Until now once schedule is approved, it remains in the approval history. Now data comparison between the current schedule with baseline from history is possible. Baseline schedule can be modified.
◎Visual comparison with the current schedule itself is possible in status report.
■■４）Report -> Added “Cost EVM based ” option to the method of calculating the % Complete ■■
◎Until now, the % Complete has been calculated using either the Efforts or Duration based method, but now we have added Cost EVM Method.
◎The status report graph changes depending on the option.
■■５）Program -> Status reports and Gantt display of Program ■■
◎Now a Program will have status report with calculations option as Cost EVM.
◎Use Program schedule Gantt view if you want to monitor projects collectively in a “program“ and overall status reports.
■■６) Control Panel -> Department Super-User, Login management ■■
◎Department Super user authority has been newly introduced. A department super user can view all project data for that department and its subordinate departments.
◎It can be set from both the Department node and Login management node.
■■７) Control Panel -> Enable or Disable the resource ■■
◎You can now enter the schedule to enable / disable resource.
◎You cannot do the time sheet entry if the resource is disabled. You can now see the history of active duration on a separate screen.
■■８) Enhanced user interface including dashboard functions ■■
◎A Cost Graph has been added to the Dashboard.
◎A Quick link feature has been introduced, With this, user can switch to recent accessed page of any project and module with same login ID.
◎You can choose Skin settings(Themes of HawkEye) from available 4 types.
◎You can now upload / download XML data. User can update data without logging in. It requires dedicated URL.
◎Job Scheduler is a scheduling tool to execute defined jobs as per frequency(daily/weekly). User can Edit/Operate Job Scheduler.
